Local Honey

Local Honey

Local Honey is a one of a kind boutique located in Nashville near Belmont University. This store takes old and vintage clothes and "refurbishes" them by adding their own creative designs to the garments and selling them as new.

The store features men's and women's clothes along with accessories. Some of the jewelry is even handcrafted by local artists here in Nashville.

What is so fascinating about this store is they take something old and turn it into something new and unique. One of the perks is that shopping here you are practically guaranteed to have a fantastic new garment that nobody else will have.

The merchandise all varies with different styles that can suit anybody: pure vintage, grunge, punk, preppy, or any other kind of label you can think of.

This boutique is growing in popularity every day and it's no wonder why.

They also recently added a hair salon upstairs to gain new customers and offer something new to returning customers.

Free People

This store features many different collections combining all of these things into fabulous clothes that stand for freedom, beauty, and love. Free People was originally a brand with Urban Outfitters and eventually the two separated into their own unique brands.

Other stores in the Green Hills Mall include Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, Tory Burch, Absolution, and Coach.

The Hills Center

The Hills Center

Welcome to the Hills Center!

The Hills Center is located in Green Hills and has lots of shopping opportunity.

One of the most popular spots in the Hills Center is Whole Foods Market

Whole Foods Market is a grocery store that specializes in organic and natural goods. If eating healthy and organic is a priority for you then Whole Foods is your one stop shop, they have just about anything you could need or want.

Right next door to Whole Body, opened by Whole Food Market.

If you want to watch what you put into your body then you probably want to watch what you put on it as well. Whole Body is a beauty and health store with the same concept. The products are all organic and natural and there are several different options. They also have a small clothing section that is all organic cotton, and the proceeds go to a charity, which is always a plus.

One of the many boutiques located in the Hills Center is Posh.

Posh is a local boutique here in Nashville and has three locations. The shop offers men's and women's high end brands.

The store has a very clean and polished look and feel and offer the latest in trends and fashions. They have a large selection of merchandise for a boutique along with the front counter full of jewelry.

Some of the other boutiques in Hills Center are Anthropolgie, Francesca's Collections, and Hemline.
There is also a Sweet Cece's frozen yogurt on the corner.

Downtown Franklin

Downtown Franklin

Downtown Franklin is one of the best spots in the Nashville area.
There are tons of shops, restaurants, and events located here.

Mellow Mushroom

The Mellow Mushroom is a pizza restaurant and definitely warrants a trip if you've never been. They have a lot of great pizzas and other tasty Italian choices on the menu. The interior has a bar with TVs and lots of cool artwork and posters on the wall. The food is delicious without being overpriced and has such a chill vibe you could hang out for hours with friends.

Puckett's

Puckett's is a really unique restaurant. It started as a grocery store and then turned into a restaurant with music nights and more. You can still get your "groceries" here but you can also sit down to a fantastic meal and watch some live music. This is definitely one of the coolest restaurants I have ever seen and has such a great history.

The Iron Gate

The Iron Gate is probably one of my all time favorite stores now. Walking in took my breath away; this store has combined vintage, elegance, and industrial in such a way that is outstanding to look at. The store focuses on home goods and includes bedding, furniture, and accents. There are also candles and soaps available in the front of the store.

You can tell from the merchandising of the store that this place really cares and is passionate about their products. Anything from this store will definitely be unique to your home and will wow your guests. This store alone is worth a trip to the Downtown Franklin area.

Emmaline

Emmaline is a boutique located on the corner of Main Street and has some great pieces for any woman that loves fashion.
They have designer brands that are well known and some of the newer ones to ensure you get a great mix for whatever occasion you are looking for.
There is also jewelry available made by some locals which is great for Nashville.

Philanthropy
Fashion + Compassion

Not only does this boutique have great fashion but also a great message. They donate 10% of their total sales to different charities and also help out the local community along with areas in Africa like Uganda. This store is definitely one of a kind here in Franklin. You can tell that they really care about what they are doing as each section tells you about the different charities they help and what the proceeds are used for.

Another really neat aspect of their store is their Prayer Wall.

Customers can come in and write prayer requests for anything and hang them up on the Prayer Wall to share with everyone. This store is dedicated to helping others along with providing great clothes and accessories and it is so great to see a store take such a huge positive stand for something and inspiring. It's such a good feeling to buy new clothes, but to be able to buy fabulous new outfits and help people in need is even better.

Some other great restaurants in the area are 55 South, Red Pony Restaurant, and McCreary's Irish Pub and Eatery. There are also coffee shops, juice and wine bars.

Other great boutiques and shops to stop by are Anthropologie, Haven, Johnnie Q, JONDIE boutique, and ReDo.

There are also many events through out the year including art shows every first Friday of the month, Main Street Festival, wine events, and many many more.
